Colleges That Offer Sports Management Degrees
Students interested in majoring in accounting have many choices throughout the country. However, students who want to attend one of the best business schools in the country for accounting should consider the three schools ranked by U.S. News & World Report and the Public Accounting Survey as the best in the nation: the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, or Brigham Young University.
University of Texas at Austin
The University of Texas offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting, requiring 21 accounting courses. Students taking coursework in the McCombs School of Business can also choose a finance major with an emphasis in accounting that requires a minimum of nine accounting courses beyond introductory courses.
U.S. News & World Report ranks the McCombs BBA as the best in the country, while the Public Accounting Report Survey ranks the program second. Both publications rank the McCombs graduate accounting program highly as well.
